Julia Kadison is Chief Executive Officer of MilkPEP.  As CEO, she has introduced new strategic, consumer-focused program direction, and launched powerful new marketing programs.  Her passion centers around uniting the industry to drive growth.

Since joining MilkPEP in 2006 as Vice President of Marketing, Kadison has spearheaded several successful marketing campaigns, including development of the industry’s new “Milk Life” campaign, which spotlights milk’s high-quality protein, and the launch of the Great American Milk Drive, which raises awareness of the need for milk donations in the nation’s feeding programs. Kadison also oversaw the industry’s entrance into the sports recovery market with the Built With Chocolate Milk campaign.

Prior to joining the MilkPEP team as an employee, Ms. Kadison was a consultant at Beverage Marketing Corporation (BMC) in New York.  During her 12 years at BMC, she rose to the position of Managing Director/COO, and led the non-alcoholic consulting division.  At BMC she gained extensive milk category experience, leading a number of projects for MilkPEP, DMI and individual milk and dairy companies.

Ms. Kadison received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Julia lives in Washington, DC with her husband Steve O’Donnell, and their 3 dogs.

 

Victor Zaborsky is Vice President of Marketing at MilkPEP. Victor has been with MilkPEP since October of 1996 and has extensive knowledge and expertise of the milk industry.

In his role as Vice President of Marketing, he leads consumer marketing efforts for the Milk Life campaign (formerly the National Milk Mustache “got milk?” campaign) and The Great American Milk Drive, a national program optimized for the retail environment. His expertise in strategic planning, communication, multicultural marketing, social media, digital and content marketing has helped drive milk consumption and sales.

Victor directs national advertising, public relations, consumer and retail promotions as well as the development of strategic partnerships for both general market and Hispanic efforts. His significant work with major retail chains has brought The Great American Milk Drive to life in-store and beyond across the country.

 

 

 

 

Kikke Riedel is Vice President, Strategy, Insights & Market Research at MilkPEP.

Kikke joined MilkPEP in 1998 and provides strategic direction across all program elements by developing, validating and evaluating organizational objectives for the $100 million Milk Life campaign, formerly the National Milk Mustache “got milk?” campaign through market research, business analytics and thought leadership. From long-range strategic planning to performance assessment, employing a wide range of traditional and contemporary research methods, Kikke helps MilkPEP create programs to get Americans to drink more milk.

Originally from Denmark, Kikke came to the United States in 1989. She is a graduate of American University and lives in Bethesda, MD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Melissa Malcolm is Director, National Sales & Field Marketing at MilkPEP.
I have been with MilkPEP for 7 years… I have a serious passion for Milk!

In my current role, I am responsible for the communication, activation and management of milk marketing campaigns and strategies for dairy processor brands and retailers throughout the U.S. The goal of each campaign (Milk Life, The Great American Milk Drive & Built with Chocolate Milk) is to broaden consumer awareness of the benefits of milk, offer new consumption occasions and increase overall sales of fluid milk. I specialize in leveraging the national campaign assets to build custom program activation for brands in experiential marketing/grassroots, packaging, retail and digital.

For the past 3 years, I have concentrated on the development and oversight of The Great American Milk Drive. It is the first charitable giving program of its kind that offers consumers the opportunity to donate a gallon of milk to a local Feeding America Food bank through voucher format. In Fall 2016, the program has raised over 1MM incremental gallons of milk for the Feeding America network and engages over 14,000+ national retail stores.

On a personal note, 2017 will be the most exciting year to come! I recently completed my first Rock N’ Roll half marathon…and of course, I recovered with icy-cold chocolate milk. On May 27, 2017, I will be getting married to my best friend, Edward. Then, we are traveling to Italy for our honeymoon!

 

Kimberly Purcell is Manager of Industry Relations at MilkPEP. Kim joined MilkPEP 3 years ago, and is responsible for all communications across MilkPEP’s programs to milk brands and Industry Partners. This includes the Annual Report, development and oversight of milkpep.org, and Board liaison. Kim works hand-in-hand with the CEO to provide milk companies with the tools they need to build their own successful brands – from 1:1 strategic guidance, consumer research, turn-key social media content, and more.

Kim moved to Washington D.C. from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She received at Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Elon University and proceeded to seek challenging, ever-changing and collaborative work environments – she has found her home at MilkPEP.

Kim currently lives in downtown Washington D.C., and in her free time enjoys running and horseback riding.

 

 

 

 

Amy Poague is Manager of Consumer Communications at MilkPEP. Amy joined MilkPEP in April 2016 managing communications and marketing materials for the Milk Life, #GETREAL, Great American Milk Drive, MilktoMyPlate and Milk It! programs. Amy works to ensure messaging will resonate with consumers as they see the world today and to proactively and reactively handle any issues that may threaten consumer confidence in milk.

Prior to joining MilkPEP, Amy worked at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association as a Manager of Issues Analytics and Content. Working with the award-winning Issues and Reputation Management team, she monitored social and digital media to provide consumer insights and advise on communications strategy and content. During her time with the NCBA, she gained extensive knowledge about the food and agriculture industry, setting the stage for her position with MilkPEP.

Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from West Virginia University, and currently lives in Arlington, VA.

 

Christine Thompson is Marketing Manager of Consumer Communications at MilkPEP. Christine has been with MilkPEP since February of 2015 where she currently helps lead social and digital content strategy for MilkPEP across Hispanic, Milk Life, Olympics, and Organic programs to drive incremental milk sales. The position has evolved to also include leadership in areas of print, radio and TV.

Starting out on the agency side of advertising, Christine’s background on the client services side of advertising has allowed her to gain a 360 degree understanding of the industry. By working hand in hand with our PR, media and digital partners, she has worked to develop an integrated content-centric strategy, where social media, public relations, and advertising work together. As Marketing Manager, Christine spearheads SEO Optimization and paid search efforts across all campaigns, working closely with agency partners to optimize our content and attract the target audience to Milk digital properties in aim to improve attitudes about milk.

Her expertise in content strategy, writing, SEM marketing, multicultural marketing, social media, digital and brand development has helped drive milk consumption and sales.

Christine graduated cum laude from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and currently lives in Arlington, VA – she and her husband enjoy travelling, most recently to Italy, and being active outdoors!
